How do you sight in a gobbler guillotine?

Since my other post went largely unread, I thought I would be more direct...

How have y'all sighted in the gobbler guillotine broadheads?

Hope someone knows since I am looking at getting one for next weeks hunt in Junction. Not much of a turkey hunter but thought i would get one for the heck of it!

I read an article somwhere where the guy used a backstop and hung a banana in front...practiced by trying to cut the banana in half. That sounds like FUN! Good luck.

Just make sure you get a longer arrow...

I dont know what to use as a backstop. Maybe a pillow in front of my target, and try to cut a carrot in half. With the long arrows and gigantic broadheads, I am worried my bow is going to be way off.

If you're shooting 4-5" vanes you should be good. I would test them out more if you're shooting short vanes like blazers ect... Hang a old blanket from a limb, fence, ect... and take a shot at it. The banana or the carrot is a good idea.

It should not be off that much at <30yrds

Just like shooting a blunt or judo point <20 you shouldn't be able to tell any difference in POI

Well, my bow is sighted in for full metal jacket arrows and 100 grain heads with blazers on them.

Now I'm shooting carbons that are longer, full fletchings, and a 125 grain broadhead.

I think I am going to be forced to sight it in at night too.

I am officially the world's best planner.

You probably won't be shooting over 20 yards anyway, so there really is no need to sight them in. I shot them last year and used those big arrows they come with and did just fine. My normal set-up is Axis 400's with 100gr. Rage heads.

Use a 100 gr field tip and the proper arrow and it is a snap.
Matt the owner is my next door neighbor. Thats all he will do.
Be careful the blades are sharp and fragile compared to a regular broadhead.
One of these days I will get time to go see them work for real.
