    How to straighten Cowhide

Bought a cowhide for the man cave and it has several wrinkles in it from being folded up. What's the best way to make this thing straight/dewrinkle?

I would think you could steam it with a clothes steamer.

A damp cloth, get it damp and lay it flat.If need be ,lay it under a piece of ply wood or something flat. I dont know how bad the folds are. If they are worse you may have to dampen the hide and strech it. Small c-clamps in the corners tied off with some strong elastic type(or those flat exercise) bands and let it relax. Better then water would be a leather dressing type of oil.
