No planning at all. We were told years ago that we could not have kids without in vitro... this was a complete (yet very welcome) surprise for us!

One of those situations where we both just stopped trying to control it and let our lives be what they were meant to be... 2 months later and the wife is sick as a dog daily and the fun has just begun

Honestly, I have never been a huge fan of other people's kids, there are a few that I love to death, but most kids in public really annoyed me... So I was never they guy who was mad about not having them. But when I turned 30 a year ago, I started getting really depressed and mad about the possibility of never having a child.

I let go of the anger and we conceived right about the day of our 10 year anniversary and my 31st birthday present was a sonogram picture and hearing my kid's heartbeat for the first time...

I'm geeking out, but I don't care. I'm pretty dang excited and happy happy happy!

Me and Jeremy are sharing a boat ... I just turned 40, been married for 14 years ... our boy will be here SOON! Yesterday, the doctor said it'd be about another week, even though her due date is May 24th!

Congratulations man! Isn't life an amazing thing? Doctors told you guys one thing, God had another thing in mind. Really cool. Enjoy it brother. You'll hear this about one million times over the next few years, but - it goes by FAST! Savor every moment, good and bad. In about 15 minutes you're going to be 55 and your kid(s) are going to be having they're own lives / families / babies. No Kidding. Again, congratulations.

Oh - say goodbye to Opening Weekend for a little while.
