looking for a decent bass boat

im just curious if anyone knows of any bass boats forsale other than craigslist..im looking for something around the 4k mark and that is dependable....any leads would be appreciated

Dependable and 4k is gonna be pretty hard. Always something with a boat. But if all I had was 4k I would go with a bass tracker

I have a Cajun 18.5 foot bass and ski with a 120 horse Johnson on it. It runs. Just needs a little carpentry work.

i will pass on bass trackers lol.... i know i will have some issues with my budget or with any boat....i just want to find something that has been taken care of and that will not have motor issues the first time i take it out.. anyhow thanks for the help guys

FWIW, I bought a 1993 Skeeter SS90 with an 85hp yamaha in 2003 for 4K. Drove it seven years and didn't put more than $500 into repairs.

Check the Texas Fishing Forum classifieds. For 4K you'll have to go small to get reliable, but it can be done.

The size of the boat don't catch fish man it may help get u from point a to b faster but u still gotta get the fish in the boat. The best fisherman I know used to fish out of a 16 ft bass boat for prob close to 20 years . He upgraded to a 17ft ranger and won a 21 ft boat fishing the big tournament a radio station puts on out at lake o the pines his name is dj Watson if anyone knows him his son Shannon is prob just as good as he is. They taught me a lot about fishing.
