Combat Effective Handgun 2 is in the books!!

Completed Dale's level 2 class today. He told us we would bleed. Heck, I didn't even lose a pint!!
Jim and myself were the only ones there so we finished early but OMG!! A quick refresher of level 1 then the fun began. Running and gunning, off hand, VTAC, shooting/clearing malfunctions/reloading with injury (with only one hand in use) both strong and weak hand, car shield and then some fun after the course was over. Ever have a front sight fly off in the middle of a drill and then try and find it?? Looks like loctite is going to be my friend...

I will get some video up as soon as I can.

This is the first blood of the day. Not much. Then my thumb took another hit in the same spot and then it bleed better. Then I got the web between the rt thumb and pointer finger. And 4 blood blisters. But it was fun!! lol

Well worth it guys. It has taken me well beyond having a gun and shooting paper standing still. The class makes you think and move. And hopefully survive.
Busting through civilians to take on an active shooter was pretty cool also.

And it's fun!!

Will do, trying to talk some of my fellow officers into taking it as well. We just had an active shooter course in our inservice. It was an awesome class, but I think this one would be top notch!

In our courses we use dummy rounds to simulate malfunctions but we don't shoot each other.

My back actually was suprisingly good today. Until the 1hr 10 min ride home. Then I stiffened up... lol
