Heading out to the range today to fire a Sharps 45-120 for the first time. I loaded up 9 rounds. 3 in trailboss powder, 3 in blackpowder, and 3 in benchmark. lets see if my shoulder will hold out that long.

You will be surprised at how little recoil you will feel.....they will shove rather than kick....not near as bad as a shotgun... -

Did you trickle the powder down a tube to fill the case ? I have a 45-110 and its been a while sience Ive shot it. Man you got me thinking, I need to get it out. I cant even remember all the steps to reload the shells. Fill compress, fiber wad,size lube bullet. Have fun.Comment
