Mud and all terrain tire question

Looking for info from the guys/gals running a AT/MT tire 33" or bigger. It's time to bite the bullet and buy new tires. I want another M/T but may go with a A/T if I will get more than 36000 miles out of them. Last set I ran didn't make the cut (trail grapplers) so I will listen to what y'all think. I'm thinking Toyo M/Ts or BFG A/T. Tire size has to be 305/50R20 or 33x12.5R20.

    Thanks!

If you drive a F-150 and did not get good mileage out if the trail grappler then you may want to go A/T. I have ran Toyo M/T's for years and loved them. Just switched to the trail grappler back in November and am happy with it also. I don't expect to get more than 35,000 miles out of my mud tires.

        Go with the BFG A/T's.
As long as you take care of them, they can last you 60,000+.

My uncle had a set on his Titan that hit the 100,000 mile mark before they needed to be replaced.

I loved my Mickey Thompson Baja Claw mudders. They had great life.

I like that ATs are cheaper though, and get better mileage and longer life, so my next set will either be the BFG's or Toyos.

I had a set of mud grapplers on 3/4 ton gas motor and got 46k out of them and put terra grapplers on after and sitting at 52k now with tread left

BFG AT'S will get you the best mileage but for a mud tire I get the best results from the Toyo mt. That being said I have not tried BF mud tires but tried many others.

I have 75, 000+ miles on a set of Hankook Dynapro ATm's. I keep them rotated and every time I go in they tell me I'm good to go!

BFG AT's all the way will last a long time and they clean out good in the mud

My Terra Grapplers are sneaking up on 50k miles on my Z71. Should get anther 5-10k out of them.

I'm gunna go against the grain and say I hate bfg all terrains. I have been stuck more times with those stupid tires than I care to mention. And I'm not talking sunk up to the floor boards I means just clog up and spin out. I went to coopers and had good luck! Mileage just seems to vary for me. I may get Toyos next.

I work at Discount Tire- Toyo Mt wont get you 30,000. The longest lasting mud terrain is the Nitto Mt. Toyo ironically makes Nitto tires but Nitto is a much better design. I have 35x12.50R18 and I have 45,000 on them. I rotate every 4,000 miles. Now if your going for an all terrain, Cooper, Bfg, Michelin, and Hankook all have a 50,000 mile warranties and above. It also depends where you are driving. Hankook is the best Mud terrain for Caliche roads.

I went with some Cooper AT about 5-6 months ago, so far I am very impressed.

                              Thanks guys!

I bought my tires and wheels from discount tire. They have been rotated every 6000-7000 miles by discount tire. I prolly have another 5000 miles if I run them bald. Right now I'm leaning hard towards the BFG AT's to be very honest my truck rarely sees mud. If I want to play in the mud I get on my can am XMR. However if I need to get in a muddy place I don't want to regret the $1800 I'm getting ready to spend... It almost a lose lose! I also like the look of the MT's! Dang this is worse than picking the truck!
