I've read them all and liked them all. The imagery of the Jack Reacher character lost some luster when they cast Tom Cruise in the movie...he's a foot shorter and 70lbs lighter than the Reacher in the books, just couldn't see him as the imposing figure represented in the books. Can't stand Cruise, so I didn't see the movie.

Never read the books but the movie was ******! Easily one of my favorite Tom Cruise movies!

Have to agree with the movie reviews. My wife didn't want to see it at all but I thought it was worth a shot. The best Tom Cruise role in a long time and more importantly the wife had to admit I was right.

I would think it would be just based on the character but I haven't read any of the books.

Love those reacher books, what is the next one coming out, anybody know? I also like the Vince Flynn books about Mitch Rapp, but was in D.c. Recently and read where he passed away.

If u read enough of them you will see the authors leftist leanings. No big deal, still great books. Just annoys me when he goes out if his way to slam hunters, support PETA, and try to make southerners look like hicks.
