Tree stand vs pop up help

My buddies have finally convinced me to give their Oklahoma property a try this year for bow season. My question is would I be better off with a tree stand or pop up and is there a model you prefer. The area I picked is heavily wooded with a nice clearing 25-30 yds away I have access to tall pines and heavy ground brush

IMO being off the ground is better, but I would set up both that way if the weather is cold and rainy you can stay dry and warm.

If you can do a tree stand I would do that and get up high.. I love ground blinds but you can get away with a lot more up high.. On the other hand if you really know how to brush in a ground blind its more comfortable IMO..

I hate snakes and always figure they would like my ground blind as much as I do so I stick to trees and tripods.

I like both but feel my chances are best up in a tree.
It allows for a bigger visual field when up high

In trees you wont loose as much daylight hours compared to a popup.

If I could, I'd go with a Woodsey too tree stand! American made and will last a lifetime! I don't own one yet but intend too shortly!!

They're great tree stands - the best I've ever seen. I have 7 of them and Gametamers (same thing) and I love them.

I'd set up both a tree stand and a ground blind. They each have their advantages and uses.

                  Good hunting!
