I buy once in a while, usually it is bars. Pay less over spot than on a coin. IMO. Mostly I just go find it though.

It's "on sale" but starting to trend back up a little.
$1700 range Nov, Dec, Jan and now $1400 range.
I have bought from these guys
There's a TBH metroplex connection too... just can't recall the guy's name at the moment.
Maybe he or someone else will help.

Found it in an old PM. The guy's name is Spencer and he posts as "perow".
I could be mixed up but I think Mary sold some gold to him ad spoke highly of the transaction.
Good luck!

If you need liquidity...coins work better than bars.

Did yall not see that huge drop on Monday!!!!!!!!!!!! Really huge! If Katrina is true indicator of how folks will react I would suggest water, food, fuel and ammo as the BEST barter tools!!!!!!!!

Now the gold has dropped back to $1375 and silver has declined to $22.35, whose buying soon?
Debating pulling the trigger on gold, but I think it's going to slip a little more. Any thoughts?
