    Thanks for the prayers

Thank you all for the prayers yesterday for me to do well with my color test. Unfortunately it didn't go very good.

Long story short, I thought someone walking down the street had a red shirt on and it was green.

I have to put faith in it that it just wasn't in God's plan for me to be an officer right now.

I just pray that he will open another door for me.

    Thanks everyone.

It's not all bad, I've had some good things come from the hiring process.

I've got to know Glen Kreger pretty good. He's a good guy, good friend. He really helped me out along the way with good advice and support.

I've also got in really good shape. I've been running 3 + miles every other day, up to 6.2 miles, 100 push ups and 100 sit ups is cake! Hopefully I will continue to exercise.

Plus I quit drinking, although my goal was to quit until I graduated the academy. I may have to start sneaking one or two now and then

Actually my wife talked me into drinking a few last night, the first I've had in probably 6 months or so. I drank two and got a buzz and a hangover this morning. I'm a featherweight now.

Jeremy, I painted my 1st water color artwork in kindergarten with red grass. I've always described objects by location and shape. Color deficiency is a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act, if you're rejected, I'd write a letter and nicely ask how can you be eliminated from consideration for a disability?

                  Hope you get the job.

                          Jeremy, truly sorry to hear.

With your attitude, you will be fine.....also, if there is another door that can be opened, Glen will find it.

                          Good Luck.
