Small layout boats for duck hunting

Anyone duck hunt out of a small layout boat, such as a momarsh, four rivers, or carsten? How do yall like it? Thinking about a momarsh fatboy DP with a small mud buddy for me, my dog, and some gear.

I do when it's the right scenario. Momarsh is a good rig.

I almost bought a carsten last year. I was worried about taking it out into some of the bays and such. If I had bought it, I would have had no worries for the backwater areas at all.

I have only hunted from pit blinds. What would yall say is the ideal application for these boats?

I hunt out of them in shallow back marsh where the cover is low and requires a low profile blind.

I know Aaron and Ira Mccauley with momarsh. They are both great guys and make an incredible boat! Ira has a bunch of videos on youtube with his boats and their capabilities.
