    Protest Against Parole

We had a mother of a kid that used to ride out with us come by the station today. This young man was beaten and left for dead by a group of lowlifes. It is a copy of the leter she left and I thought you guys could help us flood TDC with email or letters. I know some of you have a better way with words than I do and can get the point across.

Send letter, email, or fax protesting the parole of Juan Carlos Gonzales Garcia

Garcia is one of eight men convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the near fatal beating of Marcus Vaughn Wells. The men planed and then executed the brutal attack on Marcus with a baseball bat on Nov 9th, 2004 in Hopkins County, Sulphur Springs, Texas. Marcus suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of an open skull fracture, as well as other fractures and lacerations. After being careflighted to ETMC, Marcus spent month in the hospital and in therapy.

The Board of Pardons and Paroles has tentatively approved Mr. Garcia for parole. His projected release date is within 30 days. This defendant was given a 5 year sentence, he has served less than half of that. Marcus will suffer a lifetime of disabilities due to the injuries he received that Nov. night. Mr. Garcia is an illegal immigrant in the US. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has orders Mr. Garcia to be deported upon his release. It is likely that he will cross the border to once again join his family here is the US. Due to the violent nature of this crime, parole must be denied.

Please forward this to everyone you know. Marcus' family is asking everyone to take the time to protest the parole of Garcia Please include his full name and ID number. Juan Carlos Gonzales Garcia TDCJ-ID# 01335804, State ID# 06720998

    Send letters to...

          You got it.
I got stabbed many years ago by a lowlife illegal, was fighting 4 of them when this POS coward nailed me. He got 5 years probation out of the ordeal which darn near killed me(got my colon with the 5" blade). As far as I know he never got deported.
I have no use for criminals like this and would love to save the money we spend incarcerating them by hangin em all high from the nearest live oak.

They need to parole him to the middle of the Gulf in a leaking boat without a life jacket and tell him home is west...

I hear ya guys. Marcus is a great kid. He is having a very hard time after all this. Hard for him to find work due to the head injury. I wanted to see all 8 swing from the neck.

Lets pack their butts up and send them to Iraq in their own little BS unit.

Whatever happened to good old vigilante justice? This is one of my favorite pictures, which is prominently displayed in our lawyers office. Ada, OK was the location of one of the last lynchings and local papers featured this picture the morning after the local residents took matters into their own hands. Today, you can buy coffee mugs from the Chamber of Commerce with that photo on it and a liine below it that reads "Ada, a great place to hang out". We really do need to go back to the basics folks.

With our messed up justice system nothing surprises me.

It is a travesty that he only received 5 years for his horrific crime and now you want to turn him loose after less than half his sentence has been served? How long do you think it will take him to get back to his family in the US after he is deported? Maybe someone will send him to his maker before he eventually kills or maims another US citizen.

This goes back to Immigration Reform. I do not mind immigrants in this county.. Only if they do it the Correct Way.
The reform act has been designed to stop ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

The only issue here with his parole is that it could very well be Mandatory release. It all depends on which law he fell under when he was sentenced (House Bill).
If I had it my way, we WOULD go back to the old way... AN EYE FOR AN EYE...

Mention "violent offenders" in your emails and letters. TDCJ is under a lot of pressure to parole nonviolent offenders but the violent offenders should do way more than half their time.
