I wear Double H steel toes everyday. Must get the ones with wooden heel. They have been the most comfortable boot and most durable I have yet to find. Had this pair for almost 3 years now. Bout to get the second pair.
I dont know about fallen arches specifically, but ariat have been the most comfortable that I have found. Tony Lama 3Rs are also good from what I hear, havent tried em personally yet though. I have tried wolverine, justin, double h, red wing, and ariat. The ariats are the best so far by a big margin.
You could always try putting one of those dr schols custom fit inserts in which ever boot you buy. I would suggest getting the insert first and trying it on with the boot in the store.
You won't get the correct answer on here. Go see a podiatrist and take his advice.
Brother, my loving wife has feet problems I'd only wish on my worst enemy or enemies. I've lived through this, and my suggestion is to see a podiatrist, have the casts made of your feet and have custom orthotics made. Then you'd remove the arch support from your boot and place them in there instead.
Don't screw around with your feet, the surgery to fix or repair any problem is ugly and the recovery very long.
Michael, I recommend Dr. Day on hwy 146, old Humana hospital on Bowie Dr. I have Fallen Arches horribly and ahve ahd 15 yrs. I've had 4 sets of steriod injections, inserts, different shoes, heck I give up and just deal with it. It hurts bad the 1st second I hit the floor out of bed after that I just deal with it here on the concrete all day at Exxon. I wish I had a fix for it. Let me know please if you find one.
