Guys I need some help on programing a keyless remote replacement. My truck is a 2005 Chevy K1500. I followed the directions as I understood them. The procedure seemed like it was working untill I had to simultaneously hold the lock and unlock buttons down. It says it may take up to 40 seconds for the locks to cycle and then turn the ignition to the full on position to end cycle. I went from 40 seconds up to a minute on several attempts and was never able to get the locks to cycle. Any suggestions other than taking it to the dealership?

They are a pain in the arse to program, I had the same problem with my truck and i just found a different video on youtube and it worked. took a couple of trys though. -
