Well went turkey hunting for my first time today and it lasted for only 5 mins if that. I got out of my jeep walked maybe 75 yards and started calling a little I didn't hear a turkey so I was about to move on. Looked up to see this guy running in waited till she got behind some high grass and ducked down by a tree and called a little more picked up my shot gun he stoped at 45 yards and my shot gun is a mod choke but I fig if I didn't shoot he was gonna get away for sure I hit her in the neck but she was trying to run off so I ran after and got another shot in her and she went down for good. Pretty fun hunt and its not very often u can be back at the house in less than 15 mins

I've called a pig in calling for a Turkey once. I didnt brag about it cause it seemed evident my turkey calling sucks. Maybe this is the case for you as well????????Comment

What's funny is the last time I went yote hunting me and my buddies were hunting a place that had a bad yote prob the turkey hunters were calling in yotes every day. So we went out with a turkey call and our rifles and called in a turkey. Not sure why one of us didnt have a shotgun. We just let him walk. So u maybe onto something hereComment
