Where to stay in Destin?

Where have you stayed in Destin that was good?

Unless your set on Destin, we decided on a four bedroom house up the beach on Navarre Beach for more privacy.

I was looking at Navarre and Walton too. Do you remember where you stayed? I'd like to find a nice house away from the crowds.

We stayed on Destin West condos! I fished in the gulf every morning until about noon. The kids came down and we played on the beach. Then about 3 we ventured back across to the bayside and hung out in the lazy river until dinner. We cruised into destin for dinner a few nights and during the day a couple of times we played putt putt and go carts. Destin west is seprerated from the gulf and the bay with a bridge. The gulf side is on the beach and the bay side has the lazy river and kid stuff.

Hogs breath saloon for dinner was the ticket. Hung out on the board walk in the evening and saw the fish brought in.

My friends rented pontoon boats and went to crab island and played all day and loved it. My little ones were to little.

We stayed at the SanDestin Golf & Beach resort. Loved it!!

We stayed in Miramar about a month ago, condition of the beach was great at that time. Not sure if the crowds are still pretty heavy in the area though.

Been going to Destin for years. Last few years we've stayed at the SanDestin resort and love it. Going back in August.

We always rented houses from Ocean Reef Resorts and best street (if you want call it that) is called Tang O Mar, numerous houses on the road and right at the beach with no condos around and no roads to cross.

This. We have stayed in the area a number of times and this was by far our favorite. Get a house right on the beach and walk off you deck onto the beach and into the surf. You can always drive into Destin for a night or two if you want.

We never stay in Destin as it is too crowded. One of our favorite places is Santa Rosa Beach (just east of Destin). It's been a while but we used to use Sandy Feet (VRBO 3838) and it was a good time. A very short walk to the beach and a private gated community to boot!
