Im actually working on this to.

Edit. It makes me sad to think of alot of the things Ive missed out on and have no one to blame but myself. Then I think maybe Im suppose to enjoy those things now I'm older. So get to it.

I feel your pain .I have been on this fast pace lifestyle for the last ok all my life. My dad was raised on a farm where work never stop till dark or I guess you fell out. Well that was how I was brought up in the field of work . When I went to work I found more people that I think were raised on a farm also because they didn't want me to go home from work . I would be the same no one was ever at the same pace as me. Now this is going to sound funny but when I get in that state of mind I just think of what im going to do the next day deep breath and it all gets back to normal. And no I do not think im crazy nor do I think you are we are just to little people in a real fast world. Hope this helps you like it has me.

And this is why I am an outdoorsman. To calm my soul that is in a constant turmoil from the rat race.

I think it does have to do with being in this city so much. I love my job and the people here, but most of the time I just try to get back out as soon as possible. I just need to learn to stay out unless Im working.

Good that you have come to this point in life Jp ! Looks like you have a head to see what it's all about once you do too. Let it go. Life on earth is to short for hate and anger. Yes, there will be challenges. But life is full of challenges of different kinds too. The Lord has a path that He sent with his Son to teach us. And once the hate is gone, (mostly anyways), life seems like a whole different story here.
I have a difficult time when I see others here, and about the world, full of hate. It saddens me a great deal to know they experience such anxiety. "Hate" is like a disease, and can spread if one is not careful. But I also understand His word, or try to. And try to think of what the Lord would say in various situations. Inner peace is a great blessing if you can achieve it for the most part.

A short follow up so far on this.
I have been working on this far a month now and have been out and about so much that there are some things I want to do but miss cause I have something else planned to. Like last weekend I so wantes to go over to Geoffs for his pig pull but couldnt pass up a chance to hunt with my buddy Don. Seeing and being with friends is great medicine for what aches the heart sometimes.
