Ok y'all this may be a little bit of a ******* but this last Thursday a close friend of my wife and I passed away in a house fire Thursday morning. To make matters worse my wife takes the blame for it because we received a call at 130 am that morning for us to come help Ms Carol Urrey to move her mattress outside because she caught it on fire with a cigerette. I unfortuantly could not help due to taking sleep meds and I was also at home with the kids. My wife got back home around 3:45 am and we got a call from another friend that the human society was going to our other friends house to get all her animals and livestock. This call was made to us around 8 am. We found out once we got there at Ms Urreys house the there was nothing left and she had died inside trying to save her baby puppies.
Today was the first time I have ever broken my own rule of never going to a funeral, but I went and was asked to be a pall bearer. This for me was very hard cause this woman had touched my family so much, gave us a place to live when we were in need of help, and help me get my job for the City of Cleburne.
On top of this happening my mother I moved down from Oregon in January died yesterday in hospice care and I had to go to the funeral home to put her to rest as well.
And I also had my oldest stepdaughter aunt (she was 19) jump from a moving car last week died 2 days ago. Now I have no idea how to handle all of this but one day at a time. I'm asking for your prayers and blessings and any encouraging advice. Thanks
