There are two kinds of Ranches

Pigs have found me. My Grandfather was born here in 1899. Never a pig sighting or any signs...... Until now. About 2 months ago, i found where they rooted up the creek bottom. Hmm. then that was it. Well the past week, they been here every night, and they are making a mess. I run 50 acres of crop land (coastal and hay) and when they start tearing up my fields, well..... Right now their showing up between midnight and 2 am. Let the war begin. Fishindaddio, Expect a PM from me on advice

Man I'd drive down just to hang with y'all!

I also think we're coming down to stay in Fredericksburg again in June sometime. I'll let you know before we make solid plans!

If you want to keep them out of your hayfields, you'll have to change your hours, trust me.
If you want to have any chance of eradicating them, you'll have to kill them on their time.
Think of them as pests that need to be eliminated, not as "year-round targets" like many on this site.

Your screwed. Once you got em, you aint gettin rid of em. No way possible to trap or kill em all. You can get a lot of em and keep damage to your fields to a minimum, but you aint gettin rid of all of em.

But you can have a lot of fun trying.
