Had him at the vet yesterday, 53lbs. (His 6 month old brother - Jack Russell - finally got the split off his broken leg after 8 long weeks!)

He is ready to go, and is retrieving in the water already.

This pic is of him after cooling off in the koi pond....

Ducks or dove - we should be in prime shape!
    Good looking pup!

Dang Bill. It's crazy what 2 months difference is in a dog. Gunner is 4mos now and was just over 30lbs at the last vet appt.

Yea Jeff, he is growing like a weed! The sire was 75lbs so I'm thinking he may be just as big... Looking back, he was 38lbs on February 28 and 28.4lbs February 2. I didn't look for the biggest dog in the litter. I'm sure Gunner will catch up soon enough.

That picture is actually a few weeks old.

I can't wait to see how he does at Best. I guess you will be able to check him out when you drop off Gunner. Maybe I can catch a ride with you, or we may be up there anyway.

My refuge duck cart is still in the garage, this year I didn't break it down and store it an decoys on the side of the house as in past years. I see it every time I walk into my garage.

We're getting a lab pup in July assuming my son's yellow lab Savage "did the deed" with his lady friend Bella (a reddish yellow lab) in Montana 2 weeks ago. How long until her owner can tell if she's pregnant?

Hope to have this pup ready by season. This video was from last week, 11 weeks old, working on steadiness.

Where you from? We need to get together and plan a hunt for next season.
