I don't know him, but I've been to plenty of his shows.

My uncle/boss does a lot of work, and I think sets on the board at a place called Alders Gate in Brownwood. It's a home for the mentally disabled among others, Corey has a sister who is there, and he came down and did an acoustic show for them. He had nothing but great things to say about Corey.

I've met him a time or two at grapevine main street days, the Aardvark, and Meridian if I'm not mistaken, and he was a great guy.

I believe he married a Baytown girl. A Granddaughter of some folks who lived around the corner from me. Super family! That's all I know. And one of my favorite songs is "Dance by the Rio Grande".

My buddy knew a girl that "knew" him back in the day. My buddy called BS so she called him on the phone and he sang the chorus of one of his songs. My buddy said it was pretty funny.

I have met alot of the guys at shows as my ex and I were friends with Brady Black and his girlfriend Brie back in the early 2000's around San Marcos. Not knocking Cory at all but he always seemed to have the "I am a rockstar and you are not attitude". Perhaps he has changed since his battle with the white powder.

X2 i like his music but my wifes cousin used to date him and when we were around him he was a real a hole. But that was during his powder days, so could be different now.
