Pranked- That Isn't My Buck!!!

I met up with a friend who picked up my buck at the taxidermist in San Antonio. He and another couple guys he turkey hunted with this weekend had been buttering me up, telling me the mount just looked a little off. They were serious and said I wouldn't be happy with the finished product.

So I had my hopes kinda down even after seeing a photo and thinking the buck looked great. Here is what my buddy handed me when he got out of his truck. Apparently it was laying around the lodge at Koons Canyon Ranch and they found a use for it:



I immediately knew it wasn't my deer but was still disgusted because my friend wasn't breaking form. I thought the taxi had somehow given them the wrong mount, perhaps one they left outside for the garbageman?

After a couple minutes he relented and got my deer out of his truck. Funny still

Haha, you got it. My buddy works in Farmersville. Funny story about that DQ and totally off subject but two years ago my neighbor hit my truck while it was parked in the street. While my truck was in the shop, I had a Toyota Camry with the keyless ignition as a rental.

Anyway, I met my brother and a friend at the DQ around 4am before a Cooper Lake duck hunt and I grabbed the keys and shut the car door and locked it. Hopped in their truck and away we went. I check my voicemail after the hunt as I have about 5 missed calls- ALL from the Farmersville Police Department.

I had left the car sitting in the DQ with it running the entire time. I figured I had the keys so the car couldn't possibly be on. Guess I failed to hit the engine off button. We ate lunch there and the whole DQ staff gave me a round of applause when we walked in. Surprisingly I still had a half a tank of gas left
