    Bow string input

OK, I know that Winner's Choice is a great string but I need to know what is a good pre-stretched string that is not real expensive. With all our med. expenses lately I need to keep prices down if possible. I'm shooting an 03 Mathews Q2XL 28 in. draw. Let me know what you guys think.

Why don't you call Fay at North Texas Archery, I hear he gives a TBH discount

I got a set of Fay's strings on my XT. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another set either.
Give him a call. He'll do you right, I guarantee.

I just ordered a string/cable set from bucknasty...$75 with braided serving (they are $65 with twisted serving). Also looked hard at Vapor Trails. Both of these sources were considerably less than WC and have great reviews from those that shoot them.

No offence but those are not worth it...basically a Mathews factory string.

I got a set of Wolfden's on my GTO and they havent moved a bit and I have about 400 shots on them since Thursday. They are about $70 for a set

              Cracker's makes great strings $90
Bucknasty's and Schmitty Speciality Strings are both good from what I hear.

I've had a set of Zebra strings now for 3 1/2 years, not had one problem, no stretch or fraying. Hard pressed to call that a bad string!

What do you call "not real expensive"?

You can get WC strings for about 75 bucks
