Rv Owners _ Question For You

I have an older (early 80's) pop up camper. The hose connector that connects to the propane bottle does not fit the newer propane bottles. What type of adapter fitting do I need and where do I find it? (home depot didn't have a clue)
It looks like the adapter needs both connections to be female.

Try Camping World. The only one I know of is in Denton.

You can take in to one of the RV places and they will either change it out or sell you another one.

Are you sure it won't fit? Most of the new propane bottles that I have seen have threads on both the inside (for the old style connections) and on the outside (for the new style connections). Keep in mind that the old inside threads are reverse threaded (you turn right to loosen and left to tighten).
