The contest is next weekend.
I would like to get some meat this weekend so I have time to have a trial run.
We are setting up the booths and cooking pits, etc. starting on Wednesday the 17th so my time is limited.
MySTR8U I could meet up with your brother if the scenario you suggested would work out for you. Please PM me and I will send you my phone number so we can coordinate this effort.

Hunting Consult If the MySTR8U option does not work out ,I would consider driving to New Braunfels to pick up the proper meat. Let's see that is the only option for the Axis meat first. Thanks.

Well I met up with mmlreiner last evening and got some axis meat for the cook off. I would really like to get about 2-3 pounds more so I have some latitude to select the best looking cuts to offer for judging.
