I do not know how much flexibility she will have in her knee for a while and do not know if the scooter would work because of flexibility and just having your weight on the knee.
If that is the case, she would be in a knee immobilizer with her leg fully straight and that stroller would not work.
EDIT: I need to be more savvy about looking at the dates on these threads. You probably already know all this by now.

I want to thank everyone who sent cards and has recently asked about sending cards. I need her to write thank you notes to all the great people that sent cards and especially to those who sent extra. My daughter had a condition called OCD. It is when a piece of bone breaks off and begins to die. The Dr. Originally thought that hers had completely broke off and they woe need to do a bone graft. Lucky when they got into her knee it was still partially attached. They ended up putting 3 dissolvable screws in her knee and the surgery went well. The surgery was two weeks ago today and she has started back to school and Physically Therapy. She will be able to get off her crutches and begin walking at the beginning of June. Her goal is to be ready to play in her teams National tournament in July. The Dr. Said that they do not think they will release her until late September or early October. She is bound and determined to prove them wrong. I do not believe she will be ready by July, but am not going to discourage her from putting in the work that she is doing. She is a tough kid, maybe she can DH or something at Nationals, but onlemif the DR. Clears her. Sorry for the poor grammar, but typing on a phone is not easy when you have fat fingers. I will update as the PT continues 3 times a week for the next two months.

My name is Selby and my dad in April let all of you know that I was having surgery on my left knee. I did not know he did this, but then all of sudden I started receiving a lot of amazing get well cards. I noticed they were signed from the Texas Bow Hunter Family and I realized what my dad did for me. I want to thank all of you who took the time to send me get well wishes. The cards were great and they always brought a smile to my face when I was really in a lot of pain. It meant a lot to me that people I have never met would do such a kind thing.
I want to share that my left knee has been responding really well to therapy and it is almost completely healed. I was told that in September I would be released to go back to sports, and have been really looking forward to that day. Unfortunately my right started bothering me and today I had to get it checked out. To all of our surprise, my doctor diagnosed my right knee with the same condition. I am now preparing myself for another knee surgery, but know that it will turn out great. I have a lot of wonderful cards to remind me to stay strong.
Thank you for helping me with this tough time.
