Any vehicle alignment gurus out there?

    You were better off going to an actual offroad shop for an alignment. They shouldn't have rotated the axle further than allowed in order for the front drive shaft to operate properly. I say it could be an issue because even though the front shaft is long enough to allow for a good deal of angle, 8 inches is a sizable lift. You should be fine. If it were to have issues they would be present by now. The highest I ever jacked a 2500 ram was 6 inches and I had more issues with the rear axle than front.
