Not sure about y'all's turkey but mine at the ranch are like pets. U can literally almost Hand feed them. I don't even hunt them because it wouldn't be a challenge. I routinely have to run them off as I'm filling feeders because they will try to get in the bed if truck with me. Anyone else have them like this.

I am taking the pop up this weekend to try and film with the camera on a tripod. I am taking a bow and a shotgun with me, and I want to bring one home this year with this group. Any means neccesary for me this weekend. I do enjoy sitting on the ground you can just see more. and will be doing my fair share of that but the popup and video will come out at some point.

put up a (badly beat up) pop up for youth weekend... 1st time I used a blind... no toms but hens. For my son, I'll use a blind again. Me, I just prefer sitting next to a tree.
Judging from where folks put up turkey feeders in relation to their deer blind, I would say lot's of folks use blinds.

I hunt in thick wooded hills and try to use shadows and terrain to set up. I like to set up where the terrain will get the turkey to pass through a low or high spot that will allow me to draw and hold for a shot. It's 50/50 at that point
