I'd love to come back down and give it a try. Probably pull a little harder than these crappie I've been catching lol.
I'm sure we could work on something in the future, thanks again.

              Welcome to the club!

We bought our cabover last summer. It is great, we are planning a trip to the mountains this summer - just hit the road and camp wherever we want...

You can see the extended hitch in the pic of my truck, we will flat tow the Unlimited.

Check out my write-up in the DIY section on the LED lights I put on the bottom of mine for lighting at night (I included a pic). I am about to put a color set on my awnings.

Drop me a PM if you have any questions. Looks like the first thing you will be investing in is a tie down system. The people at Princess Craft in the Austin area are real nice for any help. That is where I bought mine, they deal primarily in cabover campers, nobody in the Houston area does...

I remember that write up on the leds. I'll be doing that for sure. As for the tie downs. It came with all the support and tie down equipment. We were just trying to get it home. I'll put all that stuff on tomorrow. The camper needs a few updates here and there but for an 03 it was really clean. Pm sent.

Bill - Your camper looks similar.

Here is the setup with boat. I let the air out of the airbags before I took the picture but the back end usually doesn't dip like this.

Deja - Very close. I kind of wish I had the dually, it would be a little easier on my knuckles. I totally understand the airbag thing...

Mine is a 2008 971, they only made that model a few years. Has a dry bath / full shower in it with a slide on the drivers side.

Looks like you have a power awning, I don't have that option

Must be nice to take that set up fishing for the weekend!
