Trials begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning
Check-in and run order will be determined at 8:30 so you'll want to show up a few minutes early.

There will be Two divisions this time: Junior Trackers and Master Trackers
          1st, 2nd, and 3rd places
The scores are based on accuracy and time

Junior Division - 150 yards, 6 oz. of blood aged 4 hours, one 90 degree turn

Master Division - 500 yards, 6 oz of blood aged 12 hours, three 90 degree turns

The blood trailing workshop will be at 10:00 a.m. and we'll do another after lunch for the folks that couldn't make it to the first one. There will be trails for the dogs to run as part of the workshop.

Snake avoidance, hog bay, and demos will be going on all day.

I'll be there. Lets see if Scout is a natural born tracker.

I know of at least twenty so far......lots of people bring several dogs with them.

                  We bring three.

This will be our 3rd tracking trial and we usually have 5-7 dogs participating in each division. I'm expecting participation to be greater this time and we will prepare trails accordingly.

Great news! David Jones is going to do a retriever demonstration and seminar. This will be a great opportunity for the bird dog folks to pick up a few tips from an expert and enroll your dog in snake avoidance all in the same day!

David's credentials are pretty impressive. Check him out on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/StrongDogJones or his webpage: http://stronggundogs.com/

Can y'all please hold these earlier in the year (& further North)

See if you can squeeze it in between basketball & baseball.

Seriously sounds like a great event, I would love to get my dog out there & get some tips for refining her skills.

find me a good venue, and I'll make it happen in March next year....

we were stuck on the date since this location stays busy every weekend, but the owner is a great guy!
