It may have been a joke, but the handfull of us that ate them just thought it was odd and not a joke. The other guys pulled the sausage out and ate the rest.

It would be hilarious if they had a camera hidden where they could see people's faces as they ate them and discovered the surprise inside. Then share the pics with everybody at the end if the day.

Without something like that it just seems strange to me too.
