    Trick shot - yeah!

As I aimed, I thought... "I'm going to take the blazer off that first arrow with this second arrow".

Ahhh. Ok, it was a total fluke, lol. I had been shooting my longbow and got a little frustrated and went for the easy route with my wheels.

Buried one trad stick in the ground, ruining the feathers. Hit the chair that the target is sitting on, splitting the end of another arrow. And lost a blazer off a wheel stick.

Bah. I should have left the bows alone today, lol.
K, stick a fork in me.

Yep, I know. I'm in this experimental stage with my stick, where I'm trying different anchors, three under, split finger, string walking, tape a pin on, take it off, sight picture looks different, point of aim, gap, "the force", lol. All with hesitancy to lock down on anything because of this upcoming Rod Jenkins clinic. I'm hoping it will all fall into place after that.

It really makes you wonder how there can be such a nice round hole in the vane when the penetrating arrow comes in from the rear. Shouldn't happen, there should be skid marks or a gouge but not a hole. I've done it myself plenty of times. It always seems to happen with new or recently refletched arrows.

Oh yes. Too true! I refletched those blazers recently, and it will take all of two mins to fix that. I need to get another jig for the feathers. Haven't worked on those before, and actually looking forward to it.
