another deer poached

another deer was poached off our land today i found it earlier after duck hunting it was a ten poin with 6 on the right and 4 on the left some one shot it an let it lay makes me sick to my stomach the second one this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sucks!! Poachers make me sick, too. If you have a lot of road frontage you might want to consider setting your fence back off the road a little bit or even putting up some black cloth around the most visible spots from the road. Sorry again.

Not trying to start an argument but do you think it could have been shot legally on adjoining land and crossed onto your land and died? Just asking.

I know the feeling. We found a couple of "non-shooters" on the ranch this year. Unfortunately, I don't think poachers were the problem. I think it was day hunters who shot bucks and then realized they were not up to minimum standards and just dragged them off into the brush and left them.
