So my gf calls me just now crying. She has a miniature daschund that I bought her for her college graduation. She loves this dog more than anything. So she calls me crying bc some guy in her apt complex had his bulldog outside without a leash. This bulldog attacks sawyer (her dog) or tries to at least. She grabs sawyer in time but in doing so the bulldog bites her on the arm. Not a serious injury but complete crap none the less. The guy doesn't even apologize. Now. I had been there when it happened The dog would no longer be alive. So what do I do? My common sense tells me to call the management in the morning, file a report, and let them handle it. My anger and pride tells me to go stomp a mud hole in this guys ***.

Some cities have "dangerous or vicious dog" laws that require owners of dogs that meet the criteria to jump through a bunch of hoops as long as they own the dog. A PITA for the owners none the less plus they have to pay a registration fee for said dog and in some places pay it annually. I think attacking another dog and biting someone should qualify if your city has one of these ordinances/laws.
