Liberace museum. Hang at the Hard Rock casino and see what celebs show up. Take a tour of Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas

call or visit the Chamber of Commerce website. They will provide recommendations on tourism ideas. I've been to the Hoover Dam and taken a tour as it's pretty amazing.

Save a few nickles for the Cirque de soliel shows.

We drove out to Red Rock Canyon, if you rent a car it is not far and they a have a road that takes you through the canyon. You can stop and take pictures or go for a hike whatever you like. Pretty good time. Saves money when your losing it at the casino's.

Enter a Texas Holdem poker tournament. They have them all over at all different price ranges. Cheapest gambling/entertainment in Vegas....do a fifty dollar tournament and with any luck at all you can play for a couple of hours...have a side bet with your buddies about who lasts the longest...

I was going to say the same thing. Other than the Ranch, the only other thing I would care about is playing some poker and going fishing.
Try to hit it big so you can buy Jade Street, Seven points and the Duck Inn we are about to run out of places to go in nac.

Are you going for NAB? If you are I'm jealous. This is the first one I've missed in 20 years but I have a show to do during in Louisiana. work is work!

I"ve done so many shows in Vegas it wore me thin after the first 25 or so!

Then I started booking an extra day and stayed over and went fishing at Lake Mead. It was (almost) the most fun I'd ever had in Vegas! (It would be now that I'm older and slower!)

I know you said you'd done the Hoover Dam thing but did you get a chance to get some pictures of the Desert Big Horns that pepper the mountains around the dam?

                    Take a day trip to Death Valley/Area 51 !

Ride the rollercoaster on top of that hotel! (That's SCARY!)

If you gamble seriously don't go to the tourist hotels......go to the outlying hotels on Boulder Highway----better odds and service too!

Any show by Cirque du Soleil is GREAT. Order your tickets before you leave online and you'll get a better deal or order them straight from their web site!

                    And have fun, be careful.

They ARE incredible shows but you do those things with the wife...I may be a redneck but there would just be something WRONG with doing a show with your buddies...kind of a manlaw thing LOL

Red Rock Canyon is beautiful at sunrise, I remember driving out to see it. The desert in general is beautiful right at sunrise until it gets hot, then it's..... a desert.

Walking the 'strip' and finding a place to sit and watch all the crazy people is entertaining too.
