    Any BNSF workers on here?

Ok guy and gals I was just wondering if there is any one on the GS that works for BNSF. I have had an application on file and in process in the FT. Worth area since 12/22/2012 and was wondering if there is anything else I can do since I can't seem to log in anymore and I haven't heard anything from them. This isn't the first time I have applied to BNSF and I will continue to apply til I get a job with them. Any help would be great.

Anything that pays more then I'm making. It just barely payin bills and nothing else I'm struggling with me my wife and 4 girls. My wife doesn't want me to travel but I'm ok to be go for a week or less and I really don't care as long as its semi local near where I live. I have a truck that's about to give out and we need a bigger vehicle for the family plus I have to get a bigger place with some kinda land cause I got horses.

Two of my sons work for UP. One has been there a couple years and one started this month. I'll let you know if I hear of any hiring going on.

UP is hiring diesel mechanics right now. I just turned them down even though it pays more than I make right now. I didn't want to be union.

What line of work are you in

Thanks guys and the line of work I do right now is wastewater treatment, and my military background is cav scout, artillery, combat engineer so not really sure what I can do in the train business but I know for bnsf I was applying for the train bridge repair. Something local and looking for a Monday thru Friday day shift if possible. Mainly what I'm looking for is more pay and better insurance

I worked for UP for 5 years. I finally quit and it was the happiest day of my life. I was a engineer for them. I could'nt stand not having a schedule and being on call 24/7. I don't know about the mechanical side of it, but the trainmen side blows.

My wife doesn't want me gone for long periods of time plus she seems to think he other guys that cheat on their wives will have a impact on me. I just told her she has trust issues. So oilfield is a no considering I'm not willing to go down that road.
