Anytime there is a embedded video I cant watch it. If it is in a link that opens in a new window I can. Anyone know why and how I can correct it? I thought I had the problem fixed but I don't

Run it from a link and see if it opens in another browser window, or a media player app like iTunes, windows media player, etc.
Reply back when you can. Also report back what OS you are using what browser and browser version, and what kind of video (YouTube, quick time, wmv, flash etc).Last edited by TimH; 03-22-2013, 08:56 PM.

Sounds like a possible codec issue, or an IE9 setting. Have you tried this from a different browser like Firefox?
Hers also a simple fix you might try and see if it's relevant for your setup and IE9.
Provides steps that show how to enable or disable software rendering in Internet Explorer 9, 10, and 11.
Another thing you can do to help troubleshoot this is to create a new user account on the same computer and see if that user works fine. This let's you know if it's a system problem, or a user configuration issue.
