Yeah it’s kinda odd. The only reason I can think behind it is how ancient Valyria was and they were supposedly far more advanced than others. Also they were heavy into sorcery and all that stuff so it’s not completely far fetched to think Valyrian steel has some magic in it.

Yes but it’s more about the battle call than the original outcome.

If someone doesn’t do a meme where Arya is doing the Robstown shuffle with a stic knife on the NK y’all will disappoint me... [emoji23][emoji23]

I was more impressed with how the wind picked up before she struck just like it did when the wights attacked.

She pulled a more assassins creed on NK then leeroy though.

Late to the party as I didn’t get to watch yesterday.
                      Disappointed that:
                      - we didn’t see much of Tormund. True warrior. Needed some role.
                      - just zombies, no white walkers in the battle seen. They have been the most feared creature in the story. Zero presence. Letdown.
-Melasondre shows up, dies- but the entire legend of Azor Ahi and lightbringer is abandoned.

                      The good:
-Clegane bowl very much in play.
                      - Glad the NK and zombie phase is done.

                      Looking forward:
I don’t think a good guy is going to win.

I'm not so sure. I think Melisandre believed Arya to be the rebirth of Azor Ahi in the last show. If that is the case, Beric, Aegon and even the Hound were brought back from the dead or kept alive by the lord of light to help fulfill the prophecy, which is "the reborn Azor Ahi kills the NK and puts an end to the long night". We'll see what happens to Aegan and the hound now that their "purpose" has been fulfilled.

But like it has been said, prophecy's are a dangerous business and Melisandre at one time believed Stannis Baratheon to be the reborn Azor Ahi.
