Not sure if this has been put to bed yet or not but Tyrion is thought to be a targarian.

There is also a plot line in the books with another supposed Targaryen that the show has skipped, but could possibly be introduced this season. So, if you are scoring at home . . .

      1. Daenerys
      2. Jon Snow (Aegon)
      3. Tyrion Lannister (because his mom might have been raped by or seduced by the Mad King)
      4. Young Griff from the books (the Aegon that was supposed to be killed by The Mountain).
      5. And, my personal theory, Jon Snow's baby that is growing in Daenerys.

So far the story has followed the war of the roses pretty closely. If GRR Martin sticks to that path a targarion will win the war and marry a lanister to reunite the 7 kingdoms. Exactly which targarion and which lanister I'm not sure but there aren't many options left.
Of course he doesn't have to stick with that and can rewrite whatever he wants.

On the second part it would have to be Jaime and Dany. That would be interesting. I'm very interested in Jaime's story line moving forward, he has a useful military background.

He worgged(sp) into the first man to convince the children of the forest not to create the white walkers to fight back against the wildlings/humans and because he stayed in that guys body to long when he was being killed by them a part of him stayed?

That’s why the night king suddenly looked at the ravens when Bran worgged(sp) into one and flew over his army last season.
I'm not buying the Bran/night king theory. It breaks the whole time space continuum, if Bran was the night king how could he still be Bran at the same time? I know the story is in the fantasy category, but they have tried to keep things "some-what" believable.

There was rumors/talk in the books, I don't remember it ever being brought up in the show? Unless I'm wrong, I doubt they go that direction now. But anything is possible I guess.

I could be wrong but I highly doubt we get any knew characters this season. I mean, there is going to be 2 wars before it's all over. As far as the books go, I always thought Griff was a back-up plan of Varys and co., just in case Dany didn't work out, and Griff being a hoax.

The only real reference in the show that I remember is that Tywin frequently quipped to Tyrion that "he was no son of his". Which at the time I took as him not approving of Tyrion and generally being disgusted with him as a person. Now, it may mean that he knew the truth and Aegon raped his wife and Tyrion was not a Lannister. This would also hold with the notion of the dragons seeming OK with Tyrion's presence. If Jamie knew about this as well, it would give him all the more reason to take on the role of kingslayer or I guess Tywin could have informed him of this at the right moment to motivate Jamie to kill the king.

I do remember him getting along with the dragons in the books and show. Heck, he was the one that unchained Rhaegal and Viserion in Slaver's Bay. It would be interesting, but he's not much of a horse rider, a dragon would be a stretch. IDK.

We have 3 dragons and 3 riders, as of now. Nobody is going to be riding the dead one (Viseroin)besides the night king. At some point Bran is suppose to fly according to the OG 3-eyed raven.

Exactly!! The Queen of Dragons, breaker of chains, first of her name, etc., etc., is probably still a little butt hurt over that king-slayer thing. Oh well, all couples have issues to deal with.....

I was just watching a breakdown preview of ep 1 going into ep 2

The poster shows a clip with Arya in the crypt shooting a bow... all well and good... Except, in this clip, she was shooting the bow LEFT handed... I distinctly recall and have since verified that in season 1 when Arya showed up Bran while he was practicing, she shot RIGHT handed.

Is this some flub in continuity or are we about to find something else out about "Arya's" character... does anyone recall whether Jaqen was left or right handed?

But then again, Arya is left handed with the sword (needle)

A man is right-handed and left handed. It depends on which man he is that day.

I agree with this, though I'm not sure about Griff being a hoax. It would seem to be kinda spurious as GRRM doesn't seem to devote that much to dead end plot lines. But, I'm guessing he wasn't vital to the plot or he would have shown up in the show.

Not a lot of people are talking about this, I’m curious of what Bronn’s part will play. If he obeys Cercis or helps his old friends with the war to come?
I bet he helps the Lannister brothers.

                            Tyrion will double the offer.
