yep, wood ants. look directly up from the pile. you will fing a hole or crack, the ants kick hole. all of their trash is kicked out of this hole. you must inject dust or a fogger into the hole. also treat the exterior perimeter of the house paying attention to the eves and cracks, crevices. keep all tree and bush limbs cut back away from house. good luck.

Hey, bughunter - here's another question for you. I have noticed in my garage and on my cars, ATV, doors, etc little black specks. The wash away with some rubbing, but they are expanding rapidly. What are they and how to I prevent what ever it is?

hate to say this buddy but that picture looks like roaches and the only reason I say that is because of my ex wifes uncle lived in a roach infested house and those piles where every where
