Prayers for Deputy's and LEO's involved in shooting today..

Montague county Deputy was shot 3 times, non-life threatning injuries, wise county, Decatur, and DPS troopers also involved in shooting of suspect in Decatur.

Started as a traffic stop in Bowie, continued into Decatur with suspect shooting multiple cars while driving. Suspect ran into 18 wheeler and crashed out, got out and continued shooting until taken down at scene.

Possibly connected to the murder of Colorado prison chief.

Montague county Deputy was flown to Ft. Worth, in serious condition with a head wound and 2 shots to chest. Thank god he had his vest on.

Non life threatning injuries, should make full recovery.

I think he deserves a medicinal shot of brandy.

I have known Deputy Boyd for a long time his dad also a Montague County Deputy grew up with my mom and dad in Lewisville. It's been a long day up here in Montague County waiting to hear how he was doing after surgery. The POS that shot him was definitely trying to kill him. Double tap to the chest and one to he head but fortunately it wasn't his time to go. Sending prayers up for a full and speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing him back at work soon.
