I left 2 years into doing accounting to become a coach and teach math in high school for a year. I really enjoyed it and glad I found a fitting career.

Then I left to travel the world with my gf.

Now I am about to return and looking forward to getting back into it.

Just came across this thread. 31 years in the education field, 9 years teaching and coaching, took a year off and then back in it. Spent 10 years as an Assistant Principal, about drove me crazy, been back coaching 4 years now, loving it again. Assistant girls basketball and softball, teach jr. high science. Last day of school today " Yehaw"!
