    Quote for parents

“There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness but of power. They are messengers of overwhelming grief and of unspeakable love.”
    -Washington Irving

This reminded me of my son and how sometimes he makes me cry when I'm not sad at all, but proud and happy beyond words. Hug them tight y'all.

It usually takes about 2 weeks to get them back in their normal routine after a week of being spolied at the grandparents.

              Good quote!

Great quote. I know mine can complete the smallest of tasks and that pride in their eyes drops me to my knees.

I know exactly what you mean. Mine isn't that small anymore. Yesterday my baby who is a freshman in high school came home crying. I guess he is being picked on because he is small. It made me cry too just because I hurt for him. As a mom I want to go protect him and cause a scene but I know that would make matters worse for him....

Thanks Daniel, I must be getting stronger based on this writing cause it don't take much to bring a tear to my eye as I get older.
