Watching. I've been fighting battles w/ unwanted grasses vs. St. Augustine for years. As far as can tell, the unwanted grasses are undefeated.

God bless you. I gave up watering mine years ago. My neighbors must hate me but I got tired of $300 water bill.

why would you want a to get rid of it? St. Augustine is not made for Texas dry hot summers and buffalo grass is. It uses less than 1/2 that of St. Augustine and doesn't need to be mowed as often.
