My nephew texted me the other night and said he found a deer lease. He is new to hunting and this would be his first lease. He said his new lease is near Gorman, man I hope for his sake it's not that guy. :-( I have a text in to him now to see who he leased from.

I was in contact with "Shane Roberts" who was the person leasing out this property that wasnt his, and who that craigslist ad is warning people of. Thank God I didnt actually get scammed out of money. He was trying to get me to deposit $600 into his account to reserve the lease until I was able to go look at it.

What Shane didnt know is I work for a marketing/advertising agency that records all phone calls, and our 15 min long phone call was recorded, and I have already submitted that to the Eastland County Sherriffs dept as well as all texts made between us. The Warden said so far, there are about 12 people who have paid $1,200 to this man, all for the same piece of land that again is not his.. The Warden told me the case is about to be passed along to the Texas Rangers because of the amount of people involved and the money that has technically been stolen!

Although I didnt lose money, I'm glad I was able to provide the Sherriffs with their biggests piece of eveidence so far, in that recorded call.
