    Western Archery

    Hello everyone. I am in Salida Colorado skiing for the week and found a factory outlet, Western Archery. Went in and they have alot of good stuff. I will be here through Friday, if anyone wants to order somthing I can pick it up and bring it back to San Antonio.     Nice gesture JP! You guys getting any snow? Looks like some parts of CO have been getting a good dump the last couple of days but I don't know if it is that far south in CO!!!

      I don't need anything now. I did go skiing at Monarch last year and it was a lot of fun. I also elk hunted those same mountains (we walked in through the ski area under the lifts). Hope your having a great time and don't break anything.

        Within about 20 miles of the Monarch ski area, I have seen elk, at least (300) bighorn sheep (20), Mule deer (30), this is a truly a undiscovered sportsmans paradise. Its a very poor town as far as ski areas go in Colorado, but is a real family atmosphere, unlike the Vails, and others. If any of yall ski or camp and want an out of the way place that is a no hassle kind of place that has a burger king, taco bell, and many others this is the place. So many other resort towns in colorado zone to only have the upscale restraunts, that little rednecks from south texas like me cant afford. We got over a foot of snow last night and about 3 inches today while skiing, this place is a jewel in the rough...

            Thats some pretty country! Been ove Monarch Pass many times. The ski lift at the top, is it still closed?

              jp, great store, i found them last summer when at boy scout camp, they have a super customer service department, their takedown recurve is an awsome buy. have fun and break a leg

                  yepper, awesome place and I love that area (lots of animals)!! Monarch is one of our favorite places to go ski, because there ain't nothin else to do!!!
