    Hunting in Cooke county question.

I'm looking at a place in Cooke county east of valley view. I know the hunting is good around red river and around lakes or corps property but what Bout the rest of county? Thanks

I hunted around Marysville several years ago and saw several good deer but could not handle the poaching problems and got off the place. Lot of good buck killed every year in cooke county, you just don't hear or see about a lot of them for good reason.

I looked at property today The area is mostly native pastures of post oaks and cedars with fields of native grasses to improved hay fields. Deer sign was very sparse but it was super dry. I did come across some hog sign. I was hoping to see some better deer sign

I know someone who has killed several toads within 2 miles of Valley View, the property is on Spring Creek, I think that is the name of the creek that I-35 crosses there.
