Does it make any difference if the shooter is right or left-handed?

Just remember, on the modified french tuning, to start out low on the target because as you walk back the groups get higher not lower. I found out the hard way.

Harumph. A Granger piglet and I found this out the hard way too upon bow christening.

This is the tuning thread Ive been looking for. Thankfully Rat has disciples to spread the word. God bless. Time to tune.

Started working on this tonight but I'll be darned if I can split the string! Kept pushing the string to the right or left though so at least it's touching.

Long story, but the short of it is that I had new strings put on my DXT 2 years ago and the bow wasn't exactly tuned to my liking. Before the new strings, I had walkback tuned and it was dead on out to 40yds with both Muzzy 4 blades and Slick Tricks. After the new strings, the bow specs weren't spot on and I had heck tuning. It was good, but not 100%.

I went and had the bow put back in specs a few weeks ago and purchased 6 new Bloodline 340's. Got out today and tried the modified French tuning, thinking that I would have some work to do after the work a few weeks ago. Believe it or not, it was almost spot on. I didn't mess with anything as this was my first time shooting since last season and I was fatiguing easy. But, I will say, it won't take but a very small tweek or two to get it ready for killing time.

Timely, I just came in from helping my son tune his bow! Every couple of years this thread comes back up, thanks for bumping it.
