Why do we have to wait so long to post?

Cause, some people (me) can post about 25 times in a minute causing everyone else to miss a bunch of threads that move up to the top.

Atleast thats all I can figure. It's only 60 seconds right?

its also supposed to slow down the people who get into a heated discussion and give them a little time to think about what they are about to post if i remember one of the moderators saying once.

It takes me more than 67 seconds to type a short message so it won't affect me
